Medy UK Ltd - Telehealth Service

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Medy UK Ltd online weight loss service (the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.

All of our clinicians comply with the requirements of their professional bodies, the standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and the General Medical Council (GMC) guidelines on remote prescribing.
2. About Our Service
Medy UK Ltd provides online weight loss consultations and prescription services for eligible patients in the United Kingdom. Our Service includes:
- Online medical questionnaires
- Review by UK-registered clinicians (doctors, pharmacists, or nurse prescribers)
- Video consultations where clinically appropriate
- Prescription of weight loss medications (Mounjaro and Wegovy) where suitable
- Dispensing and delivery of prescribed medications from our partner pharmacy
Important: Our clinicians will only prescribe treatment if they determine it is clinically appropriate and safe for you based on your consultation. We are under no obligation to issue a prescription, and the Service is fully performed once we have completed the clinical assessment, even if no prescription is issued.
3. Eligibility
To use our Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the United Kingdom or physically present in the UK at the time of consultation
- Be legally entitled to receive prescription medications in the UK
- Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts
- Have the legal capacity to consent to medical treatment
- An international student studying in the UK with a valid visa, OR A person with a valid UK residence permit or visa
You may not use our Service if you are located outside the United Kingdom.
4. Registration and Account
To access our Service, you must register and create an account by providing accurate information including your name, date of birth, address, email address, telephone number, and medical history.
You must:
- Provide true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with anyone
- Register only once – multiple accounts substantially reduce our ability to provide safe care
- Update your information promptly if it changes
- Not register on behalf of anyone else without their express permission
Your account acts as your medical record. Creating multiple accounts or providing false information may result in serious adverse events and we reserve the right to terminate your access immediately.
5. The Consultation Process
How It Works
- You complete an online medical questionnaire about your health, medical history, and weight loss goals
- Our clinician reviews your questionnaire
- Where clinically appropriate, a video consultation will be arranged
- If treatment is suitable, our clinician will issue a prescription
- Your medication will be dispensed by our pharmacy and delivered to your chosen address
Important Notes
- The information and treatment advice provided is based entirely on the information you supply to us
- You must answer all questions truthfully and completely
- Failure to provide accurate information may affect your treatment and could have serious health consequences
- We reserve the right to decline to prescribe any medication
- Professional codes and legal restrictions may limit what we can prescribe
6. Use of Our Platform
Acceptable Use
You may access and use our platform solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not:
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
- Use the platform in any unlawful manner
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Distribute viruses or harmful code
- Use anyone else's account
- Link to our website in a way that suggests endorsement or mentions specific medications
- Use the platform for commercial purposes
Violations of these terms, particularly those related to the Computer Misuse Act 1990, will be reported to law enforcement authorities.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Medy UK Ltd or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent, except as necessary for your personal use of the Service.
8. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed on our website and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely through our payment processor (Stripe) at the time you place your order.
We may place a temporary authorisation hold on your payment method whilst our clinicians assess your suitability. This will only be charged if a prescription is issued.
If our clinicians determine that treatment is not suitable for you, any payment hold will be released or a full refund issued within 5-7 business days.
We are not responsible if your financial institution refuses payment.
9. Subscriptions (Future)
Our Service currently operates on a one-off purchase basis. If we introduce subscription services in the future, you will be notified and separate terms will apply.

11. Cancellations and Refunds
Consultation Services
Once you place an order, we will assess your clinical suitability for treatment. You have no right to cancel once your order has been dispatched.
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you cannot cancel orders for:
- Consultation services
- Prescription medications
Refunds
Refunds will only be issued if:
- Our clinicians determine treatment is not suitable for you (full refund within 5-7 business days)
- We are unable to fulfil your order due to stock availability or pricing error
- We cannot authorise your payment
- We determine you are not eligible to use our Service
All refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method and may take 5-10 working days to appear on your statement.
12. Your Responsibilities
You must:
- Answer all questionnaire questions truthfully and completely
- Inform us of any changes to your health or medications
- Read all medication packaging and labels carefully before use
- Check that medication received is correct and not damaged
- Store medication safely away from children and pets
- Inform your GP about any treatment we prescribe (we will do this for you if you give consent)
- Contact us immediately if you experience side effects or have concerns

14. Our Liability
We will only be liable to you if we breach these Terms or are negligent. However:
We are not liable for:
- Damages resulting from your failure to provide accurate information
- Knowingly provide inaccurate, complete or up-to-date information
- Your failure to follow our advice or medication instructions
- Your failure to inform your GP/Medical Professionals about our treatment
- Platform downtime or unavailability
- Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
- Failures, delays, or errors by third-party providers (including payment processors, pharmacy partners, courier services)
- Delivery delays, loss, or theft of medications after dispatch
- Your failure to attend scheduled video consultations without reasonable notice
- Unauthorised access to your account as a result of failures of keeping credentials safe and secure
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law
The platform and Service are provided "as is" and "as available". We make reasonable efforts to ensure information is accurate but cannot guarantee the platform will always be available or error-free.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Please read our separate Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal and medical data in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
By using our Service, you consent to:
- Electronic communications (emails, SMS) regarding your treatment
- Secure storage of your medical information
- Sharing of information with our pharmacy partner and, with your consent, your GP
16. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Service at any time if:
- You breach these Terms
- We have concerns about the accuracy of information you've provided
- We believe continued treatment is not in your best interests
- Required by law or regulatory obligations
18. Third-Party Services
Our Service uses Stripe for payment processing. Use of payment services is subject to Stripe's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for any third-party services.
We may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for third-party content.
19. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Service. However, if you are resident in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in Scotland.
20. General
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Medical Disclaimer, and Delivery and Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Medy UK Ltd.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, and will notify you in writing if this occurs.
Third-Party Rights
These Terms do not give rise to any rights for third parties to enforce any term.
